The Tasmania JackJumpers and Tasmania Jewels came together for a special evening in September to celebrate the people, partnerships and passion behind basketball in Tasmania.
Held at the iconic Henry Jones Art Hotel's IXL Atrium, players, coaches, club partners and special guests gathered to celebrate the season, with Presenting Partner Salters Hire bringing the occasion to life.

For the first time, the JackJumpers and Jewels shared the Season Launch stage, as one club, two teams.
With both playing groups and coaching staff in attendance, guests were given a unique opportunity to connect with the athletes who will Defend the Island on the national stage.
The evening featured insights from JackJumpers Head Coach Scott Roth and Jewels Head Coach Claudia Brassard, who took centre stage for a Q&A to share their perspectives on the season ahead.

Club Owner Ben Harrison, CEO Trent Jacobs, and Chair Steve Old addressed the room, reflected on the journey of the club and the opportunities ahead.
The JackJumpers began the jersey presentation, welcoming three new rostered players into the fold, including Tasmanian Local Taran Armstrong, Ben Gold and Dakota Mathias.
Among the evening's most memorable moments was the Tasmania Jewels' inaugural jersey presentation.
One by one, players were welcomed to the stage, with each introduction marking a significant milestone ahead of the club's historic first WNBL season.
In a particularly special moment, Jewels Captain Darcee Garbin was joined by her 9-month-old daughter Rose as she received her jersey, creating a heartwarming memory that perfectly captured the spirit of the evening. Together, the presentations celebrated not only the athletes but also the partners and individuals whose support makes professional basketball in Tasmania possible.

An occasion of this significance deserves a setting to match, and thanks to our Presenting Partner, Salters Hire, the IXL Atrium was transformed into a welcoming and vibrant space for the evening.
The Salters Hire furniture and event styling played an important role in creating an environment where guests could connect, celebrate and enjoy the occasion.
From players sharing conversations with partners to both teams celebrating alongside one another, the night reflected the strong sense of community that continues to drive basketball forward in Tasmania.
We also thank our valued club partners, players, coaches, staff and guests for joining us to celebrate the beginning of another exciting chapter.
The celebrations may be over, but the action is in fullswing. Catch your teams in action this season! Memberships and tickets are onsale now.
