NBL Ignite Cup Ticketing Information

Passionate JackJumpers Supporter Members and fans on the membership waitlist will be amongst the first to get access to tickets to the club’s NBL Ignite Cup home games.

The JackJumpers will play two additional home games this season as part of the NBL’s new in season tournament – the NBL Ignite Cup - meaning more fans than ever before will be able to experience Tasmania’s most entertaining sporting spectacle.

After thorough consideration, the JackJumpers have established a ticketing on sale strategy that allows access for those with Supporter Memberships and Waitlist Accounts to access ticket sales alongside ticketed Members. 

“It’s very exciting to have even more NBL content and to hopefully have plenty of new spectators in the Arena” CEO Christine Finnegan said.

“As all Tasmanians are aware we have a supply and demand issue with the current seating capacity of the Arena and we have worked through a range of ticketing strategies, carefully considering the implications of all scenarios.  

“The NBL has encouraged all Clubs to think differently with the Ignite Cup and that is exactly what we have done in reconfiguring the Arena by reducing the number of corporate boxes and opening seating options to a greater number of supporters who want to experience the spectacle of a JackJumpers game.

“Opening priority access to all waitlist accounts and members gives the greatest chance to access tickets to the greatest number of supporters and hopefully enables those who have been unable to access a game the chance to do so” Finnegan said. 

Tickets to the NBL Ignite Cup Games will go on sale to all Waitlist Accounts, Supporter Members, Junior Support Members, 2 Game Members, 6 Game Members, and 12 & 14 Game Members on Monday 14 July at 12:00pm. 

“This decision on the ticketing strategy for these additional games has not been taken lightly and won’t affect any current membership offering, but we believe where we have landed is the fairest outcome for all our fans” Finnegan said.  

Each Waitlist Account and membership product will receive a single-use code prior to the on-sale window which will allow the purchase of TWO tickets to each game.
