What is the NBL Ignite Cup?

The NBL has announced the addition of the new in-season tournament – the NBL Ignite Cup – extending the NBL26 schedule to 33 games for each club, including 16 home games.

Each NBL Ignite Cup game will be played on Wednesday nights from October – February with the cumulative results of these individual games determining a tournament final to be played in February and significant prize money for the winning club.

The JackJumpers NBL Ignite Cup games will be played;

Wednesday 15 October, 7.30pm, MyState Bank Arena

Tasmania JackJumpers v Sydney Kings

Wednesday 29 October, 7.30pm, MyState Bank Arena

Tasmania JackJumpers v Perth Wildcats

What does this mean for fans?

More basketball! More JackJumpers fans and members will have the opportunity to access Tasmania’s most exciting sporting spectacle than ever before, with the addition of two extra home games as part of the NBL Ignite Cup.

I’m a 12/14 Game member, are the NBL Ignite Cup games included in my membership?

No, tickets to the NBL Ignite Cup Games sit outside of all memberships. 12/14 game or ‘Full Season’ members have the same inclusions as previous seasons, and include either 12 (MyState Bank Arena) or 14 (MyState Bank Arena and Launceston Silverdome) home games.

Who gets access to purchase tickets to the NBL Ignite Cup Games?

JackJumpers fans on the membership waitlist and all members (Supporter Members, Junior Supporter Members, 2 & 6 Game Members, 12 and 14 Game Members) will get a priority access window to purchase tickets to the club’s NBL Ignite Cup home games.

When do tickets go on sale for the two NBL Ignite Cup Games?

Waitlist Account holders and all Members will have priority opportunity to purchase tickets to the club’s two NBL Ignite Cup home games from Monday 14 July at 12:00pm.

How do I buy tickets for the NBL Ignite Cup Games?

If you have an existing Waitlist Account or active NBL26 Membership prior to Thursday 10 July, the primary account holder will receive an email from Tasmania JackJumpers on Friday 11 July with more information including your unique code(s) to purchase via Ticketek. The primary account holder will receive a reminder email on the morning of Monday 14 July. If you buy a new Membership product on or after Thursday 10 July, the Primary Account Holder will only receive the unique code and Ticketek link on the morning of Monday 14 July.

I have a seated membership (12/14 Game, 6 Game), will I be able to purchase tickets for my usual seats?

No, all fans with priority access will be able to purchase seats anywhere in the Arena. It’s a great opportunity to experience the game from a different vantage point if you are a regular spectator! We have also reconfigured corporate box seating to open up even more seats for ticket sales including some that haven’t been available for individual sale before.

I have a waitlist account, how many tickets can I buy to the NBL Ignite Cup games?

Each Waitlist Account will receive a single-use code which will allow purchase of TWO tickets to each game. This is regardless of how many seats you are ‘waiting for’.

If you require more than two tickets, we encourage you to buy a Supporter Membership for the NBL26 Season, which gives you all the benefits of being part of the ant army including a scarf, bumper sticker and exclusive member content. Each Supporter Member will receive a single-use code which will allow purchase of TWO tickets to each game. This code(s) can be used in addition to the code allocated for your waitlist account.

I'm not a member yet, what's my best chance of getting tickets?

Become a Supporter Member! Supporter Members receive a scarf, bumper sticker, exclusive member content and pre-sale access to game day ticket sales including for the NBL Ignite Cup home games. Head to our Membership tab on the website to sign up!

What if I miss the priority window?

Any remaining tickets for the NBL Ignite Cup will go on sale to the general public from Tuesday 15 July, 10:00am. Anyone can buy remaining tickets without a code.

I have multiple Supporter Memberships; can I purchase multiple seats together?

Yes! To ensure Ticketek shows available seating options and allows purchase of multiple seats together, each code must be entered in the ‘password’ box. Each code must be on an individual line with a line break (press Enter) between each code, with no commas or other punctuation.

Example;

THREE Supporter Memberships will allow up to SIX (6) tickets to be purchased (2 per membership product).

Unique codes supplied: 757261, 143790, 908766

The following format should be entered in the ‘Password’ box in order to show available ticket options and to purchase 6 seats together.

757261

143790

908766

Please also note that should you enter the code(s), DO NOT hit the BACK button (next to the website URL on a computer or in the bottom left on an iPhone) and re-enter it. Ticketek will classify the code as ‘used’ and it will not be able to be submitted again. Should you need to revert to previous pages on the Ticketek website, there is a BACK button on the website page and you should navigate internally on the site.

If you encounter issues regarding this, please contact the club on 6144 9200 to confirm your details and request a new code(s).

Ticketek is showing no or limited single seats available, what does this mean?

Tickets are subject to availability. If limited tickets are showing, the game is likely close to or already sold out.

Who is the Primary Account Holder?

The person who is the point of contact for your membership account (which may include more than one membership) and should already be receiving communications from the JackJumpers.
