What is the NBL Ignite Cup?

The NBL has announced the addition of the new in-season tournament – the NBL Ignite Cup – extending the NBL26 schedule to 33 games for each club, including 16 home games.

Each NBL Ignite Cup game will be played on Wednesday nights from October – February with the cumulative results of these individual games determining a tournament final to be played in February and significant prize money for the winning club.

The JackJumpers NBL Ignite Cup games will be played;

Wednesday 15 October, 7.30pm, MyState Bank Arena

Tasmania JackJumpers v Sydney Kings

Wednesday 29 October, 7.30pm, MyState Bank Arena

Tasmania JackJumpers v Perth Wildcats

What does this mean for fans?

More basketball! More JackJumpers fans and members will have the opportunity to access Tasmania’s most exciting sporting spectacle than ever before, with the addition of two extra home games as part of the NBL Ignite Cup.

I’m a 12/14 Game member, are the NBL Ignite Cup games included in my membership?

No, tickets to the NBL Ignite Cup Games sit outside of all memberships. 12/14 game or ‘Full Season’ members have the same inclusions as previous seasons, and include either 12 (MyState Bank Arena) or 14 (MyState Bank Arena and Launceston Silverdome) home games.

Why is the pricing different to membership pricing?

We have opened up all seats to all fans, and as such all seats are priced at the daily ticket prices.

Why is there more seats in the lower level for sale than other games?

To allow more fans to access individual seats, we have removed the corporate boxes on one side of the Arena. These seats are some of the best in the house that cannot usually be purchased and are priced as 'Platinum' level seating.

How do I buy tickets for the NBL Ignite Cup Games?

The Member priority window has finished. General Public tickets are avaliable via Ticketek from Tuesday 15 July.

I have a seated membership (12/14 Game, 6 Game), can I purchase tickets for my usual seats?

No, all fans with priority access will be able to purchase seats anywhere in the Arena. It’s a great opportunity to experience the game from a different vantage point if you are a regular spectator! We have also reconfigured corporate box seating to open up even more seats for 'Platinum' level ticket sales including many that haven’t been available for individual sale before.

Ticketek is showing no or limited single seats available, what does this mean?

Tickets are subject to availability. If limited tickets are showing, the game is likely close to or already sold out.
