Jordon Crawford has capped off an outstanding 2024/25 season, being named the 2025 Tasmania JackJumpers Most Valuable Player for the first time.
Crawford was awarded the prestigious MVP honour at the Tasmania JackJumpers MVP Gala Awards at Wrest Point Casino, in front of more than 400 guests, including corporate partners, members, and fans.
“I want to thank my wife, Tiffany, for her constant support, the coaches for believing in me, and my teammates – the Rat Pack – for pushing me every day. I’m grateful for this honour, and it’s always a privilege to put on this jersey,” Crawford said.
Crawford delivered consistently high-level performances throughout the 2024/25 season, earning him the club’s top individual accolade with 174 votes. Two-time MVP Milton Doyle finished second with 141 votes, and Majok Deng rounded out the top three with 101 votes.
Majok Deng took home two awards, named the Coaches’ Award winner for his commitment to team values and was also voted the Fan Favourite by the passionate Ant Army.
Will Magnay’s defensive prowess was acknowledged as he was awarded Defensive Player of the Year for the third consecutive year, solidifying his reputation as one of the league’s premier defenders.
Fabijan Krslovic was recognised by his peers, receiving the Players’ Award.
Recently retired inaugural captain Clint Steindl was honoured with the Spirit of the JackJumpers Award, celebrating his leadership, integrity, and significant impact on the club and community since its inception.
“It’s been an incredible journey with this club, and I’m truly humbled to receive this award. Tasmania and the JackJumpers will always hold a special place in my heart,” Steindl said.
The Tasmania JackJumpers extend their gratitude to the loyal fans, dedicated staff, and valued partners for their ongoing support throughout the Tasmania JackJumpers 2024/25 season.
