The Tasmania JackJumpers have arrived home following a Game One loss in the Playoff series against the New Zealand Breakers.
The JackJumpers will now play this Thursday in front of what’s expected to be a lively home crowd at MyState Bank Arena in a fight to keep their NBL23 season alive.
Both teams were able to leave New Zealand as scheduled on Monday morning, escaping any flight disruptions due to the threat of Cyclone Gabrielle.
“The team were able to fly out of Auckland as scheduled. It was an early start following the game, but everyone is feeling ok and now glad to be home” CEO Simon Brookhouse said.
The JackJumpers went down to the New Zealand Breakers 88-68 at Spark Arena on Sunday afternoon in Game 1 of the three-game Playoffs Series, and now must win on Thursday to keep their Championship hopes afloat.
Tickets for Priority 2 Members are now on sale and expected to sell out very quickly.
