The JackJumpers will have a strong presence across Tasmania’s North this month with the currently club hosting an interactive stall at Agfest before jumping into a series of clinics across the North, North West and North East.
The JackJumpers will host 14 clinics, presented by Banjo’s Bakery and Café, across the state’s north over the next two months, engaging the state’s young basketball talent.
JackJumpers Assistant Coach Mark Radford will lead some of the clinics along with JackJumpers community coaches and the club’s much-loved mascot Jack the Jumper.
“The North West Coast is such a heartland for basketball and there is some really promising talent that is emerging from the area” Radford said.
“But the most important part of basketball is having fun! We’re excited to hold these clinics in regional area in the North and get younger kids involved so they can have a go, learn new skills and sportsmanship, and have fun”.
Spaces are still available for participants between 5 – 12 years old – visit JackJumpers.com.au/clinics
Media are invited to request phone interviews with Mark Radford to preview the clinics and chat about the JackJumpers roster and season or media can attend any of the clinics over the coming weeks across the North, North West and North East of Tasmania. Please contact myself to arrange interviews or attendance.
