History made: Tasmania JackJumpers to face Sydney Kings in NBL Grand Final Series

Tasmania JackJumpers have made history becoming the first ever NBL expansion club to win a finals series and now continue the march into the 2021/22 Hungry Jacks Grand Final Series.

The Grand Finals will be a Five Game Series against the Sydney Kings, starting from Friday 6^th May at Qudos Bank Arena.

“We are incredibly excited and proud to be in the Grand Final in our inaugural season. It’s a phenomenal achievement by everyone involved with this organisation” CEO Simon Brookhouse said.

“The players, coaches and staff took some time to have some quiet celebrations after an incredible night.

“But we’re straight back to work both on and off the court. As Scott has said ‘We’re not done yet’, and we wholeheartedly believe we can win the Championship this year”.

The first home Grand Final game at MyState Bank Arena will be played on Sunday 8^th May, tipping off at 2.30pm.

12/14 game JackJumpers members will have the first opportunity to secure tickets to the home final when they go on pre-sale at 9.00am Wednesday 4^th May.

“It’s so exciting to have another game in front of our unbelievable home fans. The passion of Tasmanian fans is absolutely unrivalled, they’ve been waiting a long time for this and we’re really proud to be able to play in front of them again” Brookhouse said.

“We don’t anticipate to have the same issues with ticketing as our semi-final Game 2 pre-sale, but we still ask our fans to be patient and understanding during the process”.

“The popularity of game one proved how strong and passionate our fan-base is in Tasmania and we expect a similar response to ticket sales for the Grand Final series” Brookhouse said.
