The Tasmania JackJumpers are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Tasmanian not-for-profit health insurer St Lukes. The two-season collaboration, running until the end of the 2025/26 season, positions St Lukes as a key Community Partner and Diversity & Inclusion Partner of the JackJumpers.
At the heart of the partnership is the launch of a new podcast, Vitamins, brought to you by St Lukes. Led by JackJumpers fan favourite, Fabijan Krslovic, this podcast will explore themes of health, resilience, and overcoming adversity, as well as some intriguing and fun storytelling segments.
The podcast will feature a minimum of eight episodes per season, each delving into important topics such as stress management, mindfulness, and the importance of community connections with guests from the JackJumpers as well as high performing individuals from the broader sport, health, wellness and business community and beyond.
The name Vitamins is inspired by not just the traditional definition of the word, with nutrition key to health, growth and development, but also the individually prescribed ‘Daily Vitamins’ workouts JackJumpers players do each day as part of the championship-winning High-Performance program.
"We are incredibly excited to welcome St Lukes into the JackJumpers family," said Christine Finnegan, CEO of the Tasmania JackJumpers.
"Their commitment to promoting health and wellbeing aligns perfectly with our values, and this partnership will allow us to make a real difference in the community."
In addition to the podcast, the JackJumpers and St Lukes will work together to design and implement a comprehensive diversity and inclusion program. This will include the creation of sensory areas on game days, sensory packs for distribution at home games, and various community initiatives aimed at engaging all groups within our community as equals.
“The JackJumpers have done such an incredible job of bringing Tasmanians together, uniting us around sport, wellness and connection,” said Paul Lupo, CEO of St Lukes.
“Our partnership will help even more people get involved by making game days more inclusive and engaging deeper into the community, as well as reaching new audiences with motivating messages through the Vitamins podcast and events at our wellness hubs.
“Through like-minded organisations working together, we can achieve St Lukes’ vision of making Tasmania the healthiest island on the planet.”
As part of the partnership, JackJumpers representatives will deliver leadership talks at the St Lukes’ wellness hubs in Hobart and Launceston, inspiring Tasmanians to lead healthier, more resilient lives.
Stay tuned for the official launch of Vitamins, brought to you by St Lukes—your regular dose of the JackJumpers, connecting Tasmanians through sport and wellbeing, and helping St Lukes to make Tasmania the ‘Healthiest Island on the Planet’.
