Tasmania JackJumpers Membership Waitlist
The Tasmania JackJumpers have launched a unique Membership Waitlist product ahead of the 2023/24 NBL Season, allowing fans to jump in line for highly sought after full season memberships in future years.
While JackJumpers memberships are currently fully subscribed, fans will be able to jump in line for full-season memberships should they become available, with the new Membership Waitlist.
“JackJumpers memberships really are the hottest ticket in town!” Acting Co-CEO Christine Finnegan said.
“We do have to cap memberships due to the capacity of our home Arenas, however this new product will allow prospective members the best opportunity to secure a seated membership for future seasons”.
New full season memberships for the 2022/23 season sold out in just 26 minutes, with members making up the vast majority of the sold out crowds at all 15 home games in NBL23 at MyState Bank Arena and the Launceston Silverdome.
At this stage, memberships for the 2023/24 season are at capacity, however some may become available following the renewal process in June and July 2023.
“Due to the unpredictability of the annual Full Membership renewal rate, we unfortunately cannot provide an estimate to the number of years it will take for Full Membership eligibility” Finnegan said.
Fans can join the membership waitlist for a one-off $30.00 administration fee for an individual, plus $5.00 for each additional person, up to five memberships.
The number of memberships seats required will affect the availability and wait time for memberships as the seats must be grouped together and cannot be split into alternative configurations.
Seats will be offered on a first availability basis, regardless of membership level. Waitlist members will have one right of refusal to any seats offered. If a waitlist member refuses secondary seats offered, they will be moved to the end of the waitlist.
Membership renewal notices for current members will be issued throughout May 2023 and new supporter memberships will go on sale in the coming months.
“We are committed to building a strong and sustainable ant army. We strive to fulfill the value of memberships each year, and hope our members renew year after year, but we’re excited to offer some flexibility and streamlined pipeline for those waiting to secure their seat for each home game” Finnegan said.
Seat availability is at the sole discretion of the Tasmania JackJumpers Ticketing and Membership team.
Pending availability, full season members will be given an opportunity to move seats between each season if required. This will be managed on a case-by-case basis by the JackJumpers membership team.
