A message from JackJumpers Chairman Steve Old: NBL Ownership

The positive transformation of the National Basketball League since Larry Kestelman’s ownership is undeniable.
The NBL is now a world-class League; a League that is both aspirational and inspirational.
As a Tasmanian, I have not experienced a movement that has wholeheartedly enriched the lives of our community and galvanised our State quite like the JackJumpers and the reintroduction of the NBL to Tasmania. Among the many benefits, and perhaps most importantly, it’s inspired a whole generation of kids to pick up the orange ball and pursue their dreams.
The social impact of the NBL is immeasurable, and that is a direct result of Larry’s leadership, passion and vision, and I know the League will continue to prosper under Larry’s ownership and directorship.
Larry has the full and unwavering support of the club, and I believe all Tasmanian people, and we look forward to the continued growth of the League for many years to come.
Hands off the NBL.
