Tasmania JackJumpers’ Will Magnay has entered an early guilty plea and accepted a fine for unduly rough play following an incident with Cairns Taipans’ Rob Edwards during Friday night’s game. The NBL Game Review Panel assessed the contact as intentional, low impact, and high, offering a one-game suspension or a fine.
Magnay has expressed remorse for the incident and will still play in tomorrow’s game against the Perth Wildcats.
Mika Vukona, GM of Basketball Operations, said, "Will acknowledges the outcome and regrets the incident. We support his decision to move forward positively."
