RECENT FORM

The JackJumpers return home from a tough road trip to WA where they suffered their 6^th straight defeat on Friday night. After a string of tight losses, the JackJumpers looked promising in Perth with the much-anticipated return of key import David Johnson looking fruitful from the tip. But the game ran to the same script as several recent losses, with Tasmania unable to capitalise on their hot start, and allowing the lead to blow out to as many as 16 before a last quarter attempt to claw back the deficit fell short. Josh Bannan and Majok Deng were impressive in the 6-point loss, with 29 points and 26 points respectively. The team now return home desperate for a win, particularly on home floor. They will be hopeful of the return of captain Will Magnay with minor bone bruising in his right knee keeping him sidelined for the past two games and he’ll be a game time decision for Sunday’s clash with the Kings.

The Kings will be without Matthew Dellavedova and Shaun Bruce on Sunday and have signed former Illawarra Hawk Lachie Dent as an Injury replacement player for Keli Leaupepe. Brian Goorjian’s team is eyeing its fifth straight win without some key players, but the likes of Kendrick Davis and Xavier Cooks will be undoubtedly dangerous.

Tasmania have turned the tide on recent history, winning both of their two encounters already in NBL26, with the mot recent a thrilling 1 point win at qudos Bank Arena, when the visitors stole victory in the final second of the game via a clutch Nick Marshall lay-up.
