Tasmania JackJumpers Unveil NBL25 Championship Jersey Featuring Gold NBL Logo
The Tasmania JackJumpers are proud to unveil their NBL25 season jersey, a symbol of our unity with the island we represent and the thrilling journey that lies ahead. This season, our jersey is not just a piece of sportswear; it’s a canvas that tells a story, weaving together the spirit of Tasmania, the rugged landscapes of our state, and our relentless pursuit of excellence.
The most striking new element for NBL25 is the introduction of the gold NBL logo, an initiative of the league to honour the reigning champions. The JackJumpers are humbled to be the first team to feature this prestigious symbol, a testament to our hard-fought victory last season. This addition, a collaborative effort between the JackJumpers and the NBL, represents not just a moment in time but a tradition that will continue, celebrating each season’s champions.
“We are incredibly proud to be the first team to wear the gold NBL logo, symbolizing our achievement as last season’s champions,” said CEO Christine Finnegan. “However, this accomplishment is not just about us—it’s about our entire community, our partners, and the state of Tasmania. The gold logo represents the collective effort that went into our success, and we wear it with pride and humility.”
Wearing the map of Tasmania on our backs is a reminder that we carry the pride of the entire island with us. Our mantra, “Defend the Island,” is flanked by the coordinates of our two home arenas, The Silverdome in the north and MyState Bank Arena in the south, anchoring us to our roots and our mission.
The topography element of the jersey design depicts the rugged landscapes that define Tasmania, with Cradle Mountain in the Central Highlands taking center stage. This feature highlights the strength and resilience inherent in both our team and our state.
Our jersey partners—Spirit of Tasmania, MyState Bank, SRT Logistics, and Bulk Nutrients—are more than just logos on fabric. They are Tasmanian businesses that have supported us from the beginning, helping to propel us to where we are today. Without their unwavering support, our journey would not have been possible.
A New Chapter in Partnership with the University of Tasmania
As part of our ongoing partnership with the University of Tasmania, which focuses on evolving player development and high-performance programs while promoting the University nationally and globally, our playing uniform will see a slight change this season. SRT Logistics will replace Willie Smith’s Tasmanian on the lower back of the jersey, while the University of Tasmania will proudly take its place on the playing shorts. This new placement further strengthens our connection with UTAS and highlights our shared commitment to excellence both on and off the court.
Join Us for the 2024/25 Season Launch and Jersey Presentation
To celebrate this new chapter, the Tasmania JackJumpers will present the NBL25 Jerseys at our Pre-Season night of nights, the 2024/25 Season Launch and Jersey Presentation, presented by Tasracing on Friday, August 30 at 6:00 pm. Members and fans are invited to share this special cocktail evening with players, coaches, and staff, set against the elegant backdrop of the IXL Atrium at the Henry Jones Art Hotel in Hobart.
This event will offer exclusive insights into the club’s preparations for our third year in the NBL. Guests will hear from head coach Scott Roth and select players as they discuss the season ahead and what it means to wear the gold logo as champions. Get your ticket here as this event is selling out fast!
On Sale Jersey Date
The NBL25 jerseys will be available for purchase on Wednesday, September 4 at 10:00am AEST, both online at the Official NBL Store and at the Official JackJumpers Store. Fans can proudly wear the same design that the champions will don as they defend the title and continue to “Defend the Island.”
