The Tasmania JackJumpers Farewell Craig Sword

The Tasmania JackJumpers confirm that Craig Sword will be moving on from the team for the rest of the 2024/25 NBL season.
Sword joined the JackJumpers as an import for the 2024/25 NBL seasons and featured in 15 games played. The 6’3 guard averaged 6.3 points per game during his time with the team, providing energy and defensive intensity on the court.
Head Coach Scott Roth reflected on Sword’s contributions to the club:
“We’re grateful for Craig’s contributions to the team during his time with us. These decisions are never easy, but we believe this move is in the best interest of the organisation. We wish him nothing but success in his next chapter.”
The decision to adjust our roster is not a reflection of any shortcoming in Craig Sword’s performance or character, he has been an exemplary teammate, contributing tirelessly both on and off the court.
The team wishes him and his family the best of luck with his future endeavours.
