The JackJumpers love to get out and about into the community. One of their favourite ways to do this is by visiting schools across Tasmania to share the game of basketball, through the GameTime by Kmart program.
These programs have been held all over the state – from South Arm to Rosebery to Latrobe and everywhere in between.
The GameTime by Kmart program brings the fun and excitement of basketball games directly to students in their schools. JackJumpers players and community coaches play games of basketball against students, or lead basketball drills and activities, teaching the fundamentals of basketball in fun and exciting way. With a huge focus on fun, participation and inclusion.
This past year the JackJumpers have visited over 12,000 students in Tasmania. Each student receives a free GameTime jersey, thanks to Kmart, as well as plenty of great prizes from the JackJumpers.
