SEASON OPENER ALMOST SOLD OUT WITH FULL HOUSE TO PACK MYSTATE BANK ARENA

MyState Bank Arena will become a green fortress on Friday, December 3 with the vast majority of general admission tickets to the 2021/22 Hungry Jack’s NBL Season opener sold out within two hours of going on sale to the public.

A loud and proud army will cheer on Tasmania JackJumpers and witness an unrivalled entertainment experience when the home side host Brisbane Bullets in a historic first regular season game in NBL22.   

Passionate Tasmania JackJumpers members will be in strong force and make up most of the 5000 capacity crowd at MyState Bank Arena. As expected, the remaining individual game tickets were snapped up quickly after being released to the general public at 10am on Wednesday, November 17.

“Tasmanian sports fans are proud, passionate people. We always knew the first game was going to be the hottest ticket in town and we can’t wait to play in front of a packed house” Tasmania JackJumpers CEO Simon Brookhouse said.  

“It’s going to be an intimidating venue to run onto for the Bullets.

“The fans have been amazing at the first two Blitz games and we hope we’ve given fans a taste of what they can expect in the regular season and got everyone excited about what this team can do”.

“December 3 is the date we’ve all been working towards. We’ve still got a few tricks up our sleeve in terms of entertainment value that we haven’t revealed at the Blitz, so it will be spectacular” Brookhouse said.

Only a handful of prime position courtside seats and corporate boxes remain available for the historic season opener, which are expected to sell quickly in the coming days.
