State of Play
The JackJumpers return to MyState Bank Arena on Friday night, determined to bounce back after two tough losses. Standing in their way are the Adelaide 36ers, a team fresh off impressive performances against Sydney and Melbourne despite sitting 8th on the ladder.
Adelaide’s Kendric Davis (24.2 ppg, 7.7 apg) poses a major threat with his offensive versatility, while Montrezl Harrell (20 ppg, 8.9 rpg) commands attention in the paint. Containing both will be a challenge but one the JackJumpers’ defense is ready to meet.
Tasmania has won their last four meetings with Adelaide at home, Milton Doyle averaging 21.7 points and 6.7 assists, all-time, against the 36ers. The season series is split 1-1, setting the stage for a pivotal clash. Can the JackJumpers rise to the occasion and protect their home court?

Round 10 - Saturday 30 November Adelaide Entertainment Centre
The Tasmania JackJumpers secured a hard-fought 77-73 victory over the Adelaide 36ers in their last meeting at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. This win extended the JackJumpers’ streak to three consecutive victories, showcasing their signature defensive tenacity in a tightly contested game.
Will Magnay delivered a standout performance, tallying 15 points, five rebounds, and three blocks while shooting perfectly from the field. His defensive dominance was pivotal in neutralizing Adelaide’s scoring threats. Sean Macdonald contributed 15 points and five assists, while Anthony Drmic’s well-rounded effort of 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists added stability to the team’s performance.
Adelaide started strongly, fueled by Dejan Vasilijevic and Isaac Humphries, who combined for 35 points. Their aggressive defense and quick transition play forced early turnovers, keeping the game within reach. Despite missing key players, the 36ers maintained pressure with their energy and physicality.
The JackJumpers gained momentum in the second half, using precise ball movement and clutch shooting to establish a lead. However, the 36ers mounted a late comeback, setting up a thrilling conclusion.
