The Tasmania JackJumpers extended their winning streak to five games with a dominant 100-76 victory over the New Zealand Breakers at EventFinda Stadium. From the outset, Tasmania controlled the game, surging to an 11-4 lead and maintaining their grip throughout.

The Breakers, aiming to halt a four-game losing streak, leaned heavily on Tacko Fall, who contributed 16 points and four rebounds in just 18 minutes. However, their struggles from beyond the arc, shooting only 4/29 (13%), left them unable to counter the JackJumpers’ relentless offensive and defensive pressure.

Jordon Crawford was a standout for Tasmania, delivering 24 points and four assists, including an explosive 22-point first half. Sean Macdonald added 17 points with impressive shooting from deep, while Craig Sword and Milton Doyle combined for 23 points and nine assists.

Defensively, Tasmania’s intensity forced 13 Breakers turnovers, translating into 20 points. They also dominated the boards (40-33), leveraging second-chance opportunities to extend their lead. Will Magnay anchored the defensive effort with six points, eight assists, six rebounds, and a block, providing a steady presence in the paint.

For the Breakers, Matt Mooney and Parker Jackson-Cartwright tried to spark a comeback with 13 and 11 points, respectively, but their efforts fell short as Tasmania’s composure and execution proved too strong.
