The JackJumpers are back at MyState Bank Arena this Christmas Day, ready to face the New Zealand Breakers in a festive clash. Fresh off a hard-fought win against Melbourne United, Tasmania has extended their winning streak to six games and will aim to keep the momentum alive in front of a passionate home crowd.
The JackJumpers have already claimed two victories against the Breakers this season and will rely on their depth and team-first mentality to deliver another strong performance. Tasmania’s bench strength exemplifies their next man up mentality and will be a key factor in this matchup.
The Breakers remain a formidable opponent, with Parker Jackson-Cartwright (19.7 ppg) running their offense and Tacko Fall’s sheer size posing a matchup challenge.
This Christmas Day clash promises to be a tightly contested battle as both teams strive to build momentum heading into the second half of the season.

The Tasmania JackJumpers extended their winning streak to five games with a dominant 100-76 victory over the New Zealand Breakers at EventFinda Stadium. From the outset, Tasmania controlled the game, surging to an 11-4 lead and maintaining their grip throughout.
The Breakers, aiming to halt a four-game losing streak, leaned heavily on Tacko Fall, who contributed 16 points and four rebounds in just 18 minutes. However, their struggles from beyond the arc, shooting only 4/29 (13%), left them unable to counter the JackJumpers’ relentless offensive and defensive pressure.
Jordon Crawford was a standout for Tasmania, delivering 24 points and four assists, including an explosive 22-point first half. Sean Macdonald added 17 points with impressive shooting from deep, while Craig Sword and Milton Doyle combined for 23 points and nine assists.
Defensively, Tasmania’s intensity forced 13 Breakers turnovers, translating into 20 points. They also dominated the boards (40-33), leveraging second-chance opportunities to extend their lead. Will Magnay anchored the defensive effort with six points, eight assists, six rebounds, and a block, providing a steady presence in the paint.
For the Breakers, Matt Mooney and Parker Jackson-Cartwright tried to spark a comeback with 13 and 11 points, respectively, but their efforts fell short as Tasmania’s composure and execution proved too strong.
