The turning point came in a stunning third quarter where the JackJumpers' trademark defensive intensity held the Breakers to just three points on 1/15 shooting while forcing eight turnovers. This defensive masterclass extended the lead to 64-44, setting up a comfortable finish.
Craig Sword was pivotal, scoring a season-high 18 points on efficient shooting, including two three-pointers. Majok Deng added 18 points and six rebounds, while Jordon Crawford contributed 19 points and four assists. Captain Clint Steindl chipped in with three clutch three-pointers, and Milton Doyle showcased his playmaking ability with five assists, highlighting the depth and versatility of the team.
This performance demonstrated the JackJumpers' ability to rise under pressure, and it was a significant statement as they seek to build on this momentum in future clashes.
