Play Fair and Be Rewarded

Jack the Jumper, our loveable mascot, loves his basketball!

He loves it when his team is winning and he’s scoring lots of baskets! But most importantly… he just loves playing the game and having fun!

Jack the Jumper, and all of us at the JackJumpers, believe in playing fairly and having good sportsmanship – especially at the junior levels!

Do you agree with Jack? Then we want to hear from you! And we might reward you with the money-can’t-buy-experience of getting to present the Game Ball to the umpires at one of our next JackJumpers home games, plus tickets for you and your family!

Presenting the Game Ball means you get to go on court pre-game, hand the ball to the referee whilst getting announced to the whole arena.

To enter, the easiest way is to  simply head to Jack the Jumper’s facebook page, and tag him in a video of you playing fairly!

Or you can send the club an email to enquiries@jackjumpers.com.au with the subject line “Attention Jack the Jumper: Play Fair”. If emailing your video we suggest you send this via a video-sharing link, ie google drive or dropbox.

This can be a video of you talking to the camera about how you like to play fairly and what it means to you, or it could be footage of you playing basketball in a competition or at home, showing off your great sportsmanship and fair play skills.

Two prizes are up for grabs!
Saturday 5 November, 5.30pm v Brisbane Bullets at the MyState Bank Arena
Friday 18 November, 7.30pm v NZ Breakers at the Silverdome

Both prizes include the opportunity to present the game ball and 4 tickets for you to watch the game! This is an amazing opportunity open to our supporters aged between 5 and 14 years old.

So make sure when you upload your video that you let us know which game you’d prefer!

Terms and conditions:
Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Entries will be judged by a panel appointed by “Jack the Jumper” and the Tasmania JackJumpers. Winner will be notified via their original method of entry - either Facebook or email. 
Prize A includes:
4 x Silver Reserved seats to JackJumpers v Brisbane at the MyState Bank Arena on Saturday 5 November at 5.30pm
Winning entrant to be on court pre-game (approx. 5.15pm) to present the Game Ball. 
Competition for Prize A closes 5pm Tuesday 1 November, 2022.

Prize B includes:
4 x Silver Reserved seats to JackJumpers v NZ Breakers at the Silverdome on Friday 18 November at 7.30pm
Winning entrant to be on court pre-game (approx. 5.15pm) to present the Game Ball.
Competition for Prize B closes 5pm Friday 11 November, 2022.
Prizes do not include transport to or accommodation for the games.

To enter, you can choose between

1. Uploading your video to facebook and and tagging “Jack the Jumper” facebook page (please ensure you tag the mascot page, not the Tasmania JackJumpers page!)
2. Or emailing your video via a video-sharing link, ie google drive or dropbox, to enquiries@jackjumpers.com.au with the subject line “Attention Jack the Jumper: Play Fair”

By entering this competition, either via facebook or via email, you consent to this video being shared on social media by the Tasmania JackJumpers. Entries are open to children aged between 5 and 14 years, and must have their parent or guardian’s permission to enter.
