Will Magnay
Will Magnay joined the Gold Coast Rollers for his first game of the season, and was playing in a thriller of a match which was won by the Rollers 98-94 in overtime. Will was at his shot blocking best swatting away 5 shots during the match, he was also able to score 10 points, and pull down 14 rebounds.

Clint Steindl
Clint and the Hobart Chargers opened the weekend with a win against the Andrew Gaze coached Melbourne Tigers, Clint played 30 minutes in the match but only took 3 shots. Clint finished with 5 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Anthony Drmic & Fabijan Krslovic
Anthony Drmic returned to the West Adelaide Bearcats on Saturday after having a week off and was able to provide a scoring spark as the Bearcats got out to a 34-10 lead at the first break.
Drmic led the way for the bearcats scoring 24 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and getting 7 assists through the match.

Fabijan Krslovic has proved to be a handful for oppositions recording a double-double of his own with 22 points and 13 rebounds. He was also on triple double watch recording 6 assists as well for the duration.

Hobart Chargers (68) lost to Melbourne Tigers (72)

It was the Chargers who started the better on their home floor and they had opened a 10-point advantage by quarter-time.

Hobart pushed that lead out to as much as 13 points in the second term before still being up 32-27 at half-time and then the edge for the Chargers got out to as much 15 points in the third frame as well.
Melbourne Tigers were able to get the lead mid-way through the fourth quarter and were able to hold onto the lead for the rest of the match.

 Kayla Steindl finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and four assists for the Chargers.

Jayda Jansen also had 11 points, four assists and three rebounds, Zoe Banks 10 points and three boards, Cierra Walker nine points, eight rebounds and four assists, and Zoe Richards eight points, 10 boards and three assists.

Hobart Chargers (81) defeated Melbourne Tigers (63)

The Hobart Chargers pulled away in the second half to secure the 81-63 win at home on Friday against the Melbourne Tigers.

The Chargers were back home at Hobart Netball and Sports Centre looking to keep building some momentum this season while the Tigers arrived looking for a winning start to their Tasmanian double this weekend.

Every time Hobart threatened to pull away Melbourne was able to get back in touch with the Chargers only leading by two points at quarter-time and then just by four at the half.

However, there was only so much holding on the Tigers could continue to do and the Chargers built up a match-winning advantage throughout the second half with the lead getting out to 11 points in the third period.

That advantage got out to 19 in the final quarter and Hobart went on to win by 18 to improve to 6-3 on the season with Vionte Daniels ending up with 22 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals with 4/9 three-point shooting.

Terrell Brown added 22 points and six rebounds for the Chargers, Ole Angerstein 16 points and nine boards, and Jacob Richards 10 points, five rebounds and two assists.

Tasmania JackJumpers championship winning captain Clint Steindl played more than 30 minutes and only took three shots in total to finish with five points, 10 rebounds and three assists.

Launceston Tornadoes (78) defeated Melbourne Tigers (67)
Launceston was back home at Elphin Sports Stadium looking for a second win of the season 

After Melbourne led the game early by three points, Launceston soon took over and never trailed again, going into quarter-time leading 20-13.

After the Tornadoes lead did get out to 10 in the second quarter, the Tigers hit back and it was just a one-point lead for Launceston by half-time.

Launceston took control once again in the third frame to open up another double-figure advantage and that got out to a 14-point lead in the fourth period on the way to the eventual 11-point victory.

The win improves the Tornadoes to a 2-7 record with Keely Froling dominant with 31 points, 13 rebounds and two blocked shots on 10/18 shooting from the floor and 10/10 at the foul line.

Trinity Oliver added 15 points, nine rebounds and two steals with Sarah O'Neill contributing 13 points, three rebounds and three assists, and Macey Crawford eight points, seven assists and four rebounds.

North West Tasmania Thunder (74) lost to Melbourne Tigers (84)

After North West went up five early on, Melbourne turned on a spectacular 16-0 scoring run to take an 11-point lead, and to still be up 28-19 by the end of one.

The Tigers lead got out to as much as 14 points in the second period and they went into the half-time break still leading 49-36.

Melbourne maintained its control of the contest throughout the second half as well leading by as much as 22 points and then going on to score the eventual 10-point victory and improve to a 4-6 record having split their Tasmanian double.

Sekou Sylla finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds for a Thunder team now 3-6 on the season with Archer Woodhill contributing 17 points, four rebounds and two steals, and Seth Swalve 11 points, two boards and two assists.
