In the event the Tasmania JackJumpers make the NBL23 Finals, the following process will apply for tickets to any JackJumpers home finals at MyState Bank Arena -
Tasmania JackJumpers 12/14 game full season members will be given first priority to secure their seats for all NBL23 Home Finals games at MyState Bank Arena.
Having listened to feedback following the NBL22 Finals series, the JackJumpers petitioned the NBL to change ticketing requirements to allow more home team membership seats to be available and minimise League and opposition team purchase allocations.
This request has been approved by the League and full season Members will be offered their existing membership seats during a priority window ahead of each Finals game in the 2022/23 NBL Finals series.
“We’re excited to be able to facilitate this process and offer our dedicated members the opportunity to keep their seats for any home finals” Simon Brookhouse said.
“Our members a huge part of what makes our home venues such a fortress and intimidating for opposition teams to come and play us”.
The final standings will be determined at the conclusion of Round 18 this Sunday 5th February, with the teams finishing in 3rd and 5thplace granted a home ‘Play-In’ Final in the following week on dates to be confirmed.
Once the final standings and the JackJumpers play-in game details have been confirmed, 12/14 Game members will be notified of their Priority One window for ticket purchases as soon as possible.
“Given the close nature of this year’s standings we likely won’t know our final position until the final game of the season. Our team is working incredibly hard to facilitate a seamless ticketing process” Brookhouse said.
12/14 Game members will only be able to purchase one ticket per membership during the Priority One window and will not be permitted to change seats.
6 & 2 Game members will then be allocated a Priority Two window to purchase tickets from the remaining available seats. These members will need to buy their tickets from Ticketek and will be given unique codes that will give them access to purchase the same amount of tickets as they have memberships.
Junior Supporter and Supporter members (excluding Ant Army members) will be allocated a Priority Three window to purchase tickets, subject to availability.
“We encourage members to keep up to date with communications from the club and ensure they can secure their seats during their allocated window”.
“We anticipate a high proportion of 12/14 game members will take up the opportunity to purchase finals game tickets and therefore a very limited number of tickets will be available for priority groups 2 and 3. We understand it can be disappointing to miss out but believe this is the fairest way of allocating tickets for these highly sought-after games” Brookhouse said.
In the case there are remaining tickets following the closure of the Priority Three Window, tickets will go on sale to the general public.
