Letter to the fans - Game Day Tickets

We recognize and appreciate the demand for tickets is as strong as ever and there simply is not enough seats to accommodate the legion of Tasmanian fans who wish to attend JackJumpers home games.
We understand that as games sell out or have very little availability, some fans will be disappointed.
The limited capacity of our home venues at MyState Bank Arena and Launceston Silverdome is very restrictive and the reality if that demand far outweighs the supply that we can facilitate.
Our membership and ticketing team work extremely hard to facilitate the ticket sale process as fairly and efficiently as possible. Our members are key and valued stakeholders of the JackJumpers, and as such we afford them the benefit of having presale access to ticket sales.
If you do miss out on tickets to games you wish to attend, please note there may still be tickets that become available in the future.
Some tickets may become available when the Members’ seat return program is activated in late August – this allows 12 and 14 game members to return their seat for games they cannot attend and gives them a credit towards their next season membership and frees up seats for individual ticket purchases.
Further, each club is required by the NBL to hold approximately 100 tickets per game for the League and the Opposition team. Any unused tickets from this allocation are released back on sale via Ticketek in the week leading into each game.
We understand that some people will be disappointed to miss out. We’re disappointed to not have more seats to accommodate the passionate fans of Tasmania and allow more people to see the JackJumpers games live.
We are currently in conversations with the State and Federal government to seek funding for the possible expansion of MyState Bank Arena.
Thank you for your understanding, and importantly your passion for the Tasmania JackJumpers.
