Tasmanian Government host JackJumpers live sites for Game 4

JackJumpers fans across the state will be able to march to live sites around the State to watch and support the team in this Thursday’s Championship Game 4 against Melbourne United.

The game, which could be a NBL Championship Series decider, sold out within minutes with almost 4500 passionate fans set to pack into MyState Bank Arena.

The Tasmanian Government will host two lives sites to show the game at the Silverdome in Launceston and Princes Wharf No.1 in Hobart.

“To celebrate the JackJumpers, there will be live sites across the State to give Tasmanians the chance to come along and cheer them on” Tasmanian Premier Jeremy Rockliff said

PW1 will open to the public from 5:30 pm, with the livestream commencing at 7:30 pm AEDT. A variety of seating options will be available, and a selection of food vans will be on site for the purchase of food and beverages.

The Silverdome will open its doors from 7:00 pm, with the livestream beginning at 7:30 pm AEDT. Seating will be available, and food trucks offering a range of food and beverage options for purchase.

“We’re delighted to bring together the ant army to support the team with the assistance of the Tasmanian Government” JackJumpers CEO Christine Finnegan said.

“We really encourage anyone who has missed out on a ticket to head to these sites and support the team together, and feel that sense of community that has been so crucial to our success.

”Bookings are not required to attend the screenings, but fans are advised to arrive early to secure their spot.

The live sites join a growing list of hospitality sites around the state that will open their doors to screen the game, which will be available on the JackJumpers website on Thursday morning.

“Unfortunately we were unable to secure a live site in the North West due to existing bookings but should a fifth game eventuate, a North West screening site will be available” Premier Rockliff said.

“I encourage fans to head along and get behind our JackJumpers as they defend the Island and look to secure their maiden NBL title,” the Premier said.

Bookings are not required to attend the screenings, but fans are advised to arrive early to secure their spot.

The Tasman Bridge will also light up in green from 27–31 March, in support of the JackJumpers.
