TASMANIA JACKJUMPERS CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES BOUND - FINALS INFORMATION

Tasmania JackJumpers have made history and will play Melbourne United in the NBL’s ultimate decider, the Championship Series, after defeating the Perth Wildcats in a dominant Playoffs performance

The JackJumpers continue to make history, reaching the Championship Series for the second time in just three seasons and will now take on United in a best of five game Championship Series.

CEO Christine Finnegan said “it’s an incredible achievement to be in this position again. We’re absolutely thrilled for our entire playing group, coaches, front office staff, our partners and fans.

“Our entire club is very proud but certainly not satisfied”.

“We literally carry Tasmania on our backs every game and are so proud to represent the people of this state on the national stage, competing against far bigger and more resourced clubs. Our team do an unbelievable job both on and off the floor”.

The JackJumpers will begin their Championship campaign in Melbourne this Sunday 17 March, before Game 2 on Friday 22 March at MyState Bank Arena.

Members will receive access to tickets in three priority groups as all other finals, before any remaining tickets are released for general public sale, subject to availability.

“We’ll return home from Perth and regroup, but we’re as prepared and excited as ever to take on another Grand Finals and give our everything to bring a Championship to Tasmania” Finnegan said.

“We want to thank every single member, partner, and supporter who has helped contribute to this success, we couldn’t do it without the best fans in the League”.
