The Tasmania JackJumpers secured a hard-fought 77-73 victory over the Adelaide 36ers in their last meeting at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. This win extended the JackJumpers’ streak to three consecutive victories, showcasing their signature defensive tenacity in a tightly contested game.
Will Magnay delivered a standout performance, tallying 15 points, five rebounds, and three blocks while shooting perfectly from the field. His defensive dominance was pivotal in neutralizing Adelaide’s scoring threats. Sean Macdonald contributed 15 points and five assists, while Anthony Drmic’s well-rounded effort of 14 points, five rebounds, and five assists added stability to the team’s performance.
Adelaide started strongly, fueled by Dejan Vasilijevic and Isaac Humphries, who combined for 35 points. Their aggressive defense and quick transition play forced early turnovers, keeping the game within reach. Despite missing key players, the 36ers maintained pressure with their energy and physicality.
