Tasmania JackJumpers Centre Will Magnay will miss at least the first three rounds of the NBL24 season as he continues to recover from a foot injury sustained in the off-season.
Magnay is progressing well as he continues his rehabilitation and is gradually returning to on court activity.
“Will is progressing well and as anticipated at this point in his rehab. We are slowly ramping up his training load however we will be conservative in our approach to his return” Head of High Performance, Ryan Carroll said.
“He now needs a solid conditioning phase and we’ll reassess in a few weeks’ time” Carroll said.
Magnay will be reassessed ahead of the Round 4 game against Sydney Kings.
Lachie Barker will be the Nominated Replacement Player.
