RECENT FORM

The Tasmania JackJumpers went down to the New Zealand Breakers in a physical and thrilling overtime Boxing Day contest, overcoming conceding the game's first nine points but ultimately the home woes continues with the New Zealand Breakers prevailing 81-80. 

Despite shooting just 36 per cent from the field and going 11/38 from downtown, the JackJumpers did battle hard with 18 offensive rebounds and were solid defensively holding the Breakers to 42 per cent shooting along with 4/25 from three-point range.

They’ll now need to back up for the 2nd home game in just 3 days, to take on in form South East Melbourne Phoenix on Monday. 

Phoenix have further bolstered their roster, unveiling the signing of NBL champion Ian Clark for the remainder of the Hungry Jack's NBL26 season.

American guard Clark, who won a NBA title with the Golden State Warriors in 2017, joins Josh King's side, who sit in second on the ladder with a 13-6 record.         

It’s expected Clark will suit up for the Round 14 clash at MyState Bank Arena, where SEM will be looking to inflict revenge for the last time the two teams met. Tasmania clinched a shock win in Gippsland, 89-81 earlier this month. 

SEM have since regained their momentum, most recently overcoming Brisbane Bullets on December 20.
