JackJumpers get to the point with Crawford signing

Tasmania JackJumpers are excited to announce the signing of point guard Jordon Crawford as an import for the 2023/24 NBL Season.

The 5’6 Point Guard will provide explosive scoring, leadership and the ability to create for his teammates. 

Crawford has recently completed his season with Buyukcekmece in Turkey, where he led the Basketbol Super Ligi in scoring, averaging 19.6 points per game, and leas his team with an average of 5.6 assists per game. 

“We’re extremely excited to welcome Jordon to the JackJumpers. He’s a great leader, a dynamic scorer and someone we feel the people of Tasmania can get really excited another and will love to get behind” Co-CEO Jorrick Chivers said.

The 32-year-old graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2013 and has spent his 9-year professional career playing across the USA G-League, Germany, Turkey and France.

“We believe Jordan will be a great fit with the JackJumpers culture and compliment the players in our group. His ability to score the basketball and facilitate our offense will be invaluable” Chivers said. 

“He led the Turkish Super League in scoring last year and we are excited to pair him alongside Milton to see what success they can have this season” Chivers said.

Crawford will join the JackJumpers Squad in early August ahead of the club’s preseason.
