The JackJumpers family will join the family and friends of ovarian cancer warrior and cancer care advocate Jo Harris this Friday, to celebrate her life and continue her legacy.

The club is encouraging Tasmanians to wear a ‘touch of teal’ and hold a morning tea fundraiser to support local Gynaecological cancer foundation S.H.E, in Jo’s honour.

“Jo was a selfless and inspirational warrior, always thinking of other before herself and dedicating her final years to advocating for better care for all cancer patients” Co-CEO Christine Finnegan said.

“We want to see her dream of a dedicated cancer care centre come to fruition and we encourage anyone with the means to donate to S.H.E in Jo’s honour.

“We’re encouraging all Tasmanians to wear a touch of Teal on Friday and maybe hold a fundraising morning tea in order to make a small donation to S.H.E. Every dollar counts” Finnegan said.

S.H.E is the Official Charity Partner of the Tasmania JackJumpers. The Teal Game is an annual event in support of S.H.E. which last year raised more than $55,000 for the organisation. The 2024 Teal Game will be held on February 17 next year and will undoubtedly be a very special occasion.
