SRT coaches’ take
“We need to show that we continue to get better as a team, we are better than we were there last, and it’s going to be a tough match, they’re better than when we played them too… For the last 5 years it has been a tough place to win“.
Forward Jarred Bairstow said “We owe them one, we showed them what we could do against them in pre-season and I think we need to come back with that mindset. We have developed a lot since our last meeting 3 months ago and it will be interesting to see where we are at.
“Cairns is a really tough place to play in, their crowd is awesome, so we need to stay together as a team. Its 15 guys against the whole team so we have to stay together, back ourselves and get it done.”
