Jack McVeigh locked in until 2027

The Tasmania JackJumpers are delighted to confirm club MVP and Larry Sengstock medallist Jack McVeigh has committed to the club for a further two seasons, keeping him in Tasmania until at least 2027.
In front of nearly 550 people at the club’s 2024 MVP gala on Friday night, McVeigh revealed that he has signed a two-year contract extension that will see him stay in Tasmania until at least the end of the 2026/27 NBL season.
“Tasmania definitely feels like home now. I’m really settled here, my partner Beth is moving down soon from Adelaide and I’m playing the best basketball of my career here.
“It was a pretty easy decision, in fact it wasn’t even a decision. The coaches, club and I were all on the same page. I’m really excited to have that locked away and to continue to build on our achievements over the next few years” McVeigh said.
McVeigh was this week also announced in the Australian Boomers squad ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
