Foundation Principal Partner Spirit of Tasmania on board for five years

The Tasmania JackJumpers will continue to be Spirited Travellers for the next five years with the support of Foundation Principal Partner Spirit of Tasmania.
The JackJumpers and Spirit of Tasmania are pleased to announce a five-year agreement which will see the new Spirit of Tasmania logo featured on the major, front-chest position of the JackJumpers home and away jersey until at least the 2026/27 NBL season.
“This is a really significant occasion in the short history of our Club,” Chief Commercial and Customer Officer Christine Finnegan said.
“Spirit of Tasmania is an iconic Tasmanian brand that connects people and products with mainland Australia, and also connects the local community through partnerships like this.
“We’re very proud to have a prominent Tasmanian company on the front of our jersey as we head into season two and beyond.
Spirit of Tasmania Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Bernard Dwyer said the company was very proud to continue the partnership.
“We have worked with the NBL and JackJumpers well before the success of the inaugural season and were so impressed by the performance and impact of the Club both on and off the court,” he said.
“We are thrilled to continue to support the JackJumpers as they vie for future success, but importantly also represent Tasmania on the national and international stage.
“We are proud to continue helping the team to entertain and engage people of all ages, both on game day and more broadly.
“And most importantly to Spirit of Tasmania, we are working with the JackJumpers to provide aspirational involvement for all ages in basketball in Tasmania.”
The new partnership announcement coincides with a new era for Spirit of Tasmania, with the Company’s new Victorian port, Spirit of Tasmania Quay, opening in Geelong on October 23, 2022.
Spirit of Tasmania will be recognised as the Foundation Principal Partner.
“We will continue to drive our partnership strategy through primarily Tasmanian brands that feature on the national stage and work with them to increase their market presence to mainland and international customers,” Finnegan said.
The new jersey with the Spirit of Tasmania logo featured front and centre will be presented to the players at the Tasmania JackJumpers 2022 Jersey Presentation on Tuesday, September 13 and launched for public sale on Wednesday, September 14 at shop.jackjumpers.com.au.
