Follow your Tasmania JackJumpers this NBL Off Season

While the NBL25 season has concluded, the basketball action continues for the squad who have been putting in the work post season for the NBL1 and abroad seasons over the Tasmanian winter.

Will Magnay and Sean Macdonald have recovered from their respective injuries and will be back on the court. 

Magnay is suiting up for Mersin MSK in the Turkish Basketbol Ligi where he has made his presence felt immediately, displaying some impressive defensive athleticism in his opening games in the League. Also joining the Turkish hoops is the NBL25 MVP, Jordon Crawford who has been putting on a show for Esenler Erokspor.

Staying to Defend the Island, Archie Woodhill is running it back with the North-West Thunder in the NBL1 South, where he will come up against 25/26 teammates Nick Stoddart and Brody Nunn who have returned to Ballarat Miners and Knox Raiders respectively. 

Assistant Coach, Jarrad Weeks steps into his first season as Head Coach of the Hobart Chargers in the NBL1 South there is bound to be some friendly rivalry among the strong competition.  

Sean Macdonald is heading across the ditch to join the Canterbury Rams in the SAL’s NBL, continuing his JackJumpers bond with teammate, Walter Brown who has returned to the Rams for his fifth season in the competition. While Reuben Te Rangi also returned home to New Zealand for a short contract with the Franklin Bulls. 

After a standout season in the NBL, Majok Deng our Fan Favourite and Coaches Award winner has signed with Al Ittihad Alexandria in Egypt. 

Fabijan Krslovic has made his return to the court in Germany with the Phoenix Hagen who are sitting sixth in the ProA League.

You can catch Milton Doyle in action for the Indios De Mayagüez in Puerto Rico where he has returned for his second season with the team.
