Head Coach

Scott Roth

Inaugural Coach

The 57-year-old, who hails from Cleveland, has been an assistant coach for a number of NBA teams including the Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks, Toronto Raptors and Detroit Pistons. Roth was also Head Coach of the Dominican Republic, NBA G-League team, the Iowa Wolves, and assistant coach of the Chinese and Turkish national teams. Prior to coaching, he played 160 NBA games with the Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs and Minnesota Timberwolves and enjoyed a successful playing career in Europe. Roth will lead the JackJumpers’ entry into the Hungry Jack’s NBL for the 2021-22 season.

Assistant Coaches

FIRST ASSISTANT COACH

Jacob Chance

Chance has been the Assistant Coach of the Perth Wildcats since 2019, playing a key role in the club’s 2020 NBL championship. He started working with the Wildcats in 2016 as Video Coordinator and Development Coach. Chance and JackJumpers Head Coach Scott Roth worked together at Perth from 2019-2021.

Second Assistant Coach

Mark Radford

Radford was also the Head Coach of the Australian World University Games Team from 2017-2019 and the North West Thunder from 2001-2008. He has served as an Assistant Coach with the Australian U19 National Team from 2014-2016 and with the Perth Wildcats (2008-2010) and Adelaide 36ers (2010-2013) in the NBL.

Third Assistant Coach

Jack Fleming

Jack joins the JackJumpers in the role of Third Assistant Coach. Jack previously held the role of Head Coach of the under 16 Victorian Men’s Metro team and has worked as the head basketball strength and conditioning coach at Box Hill Senior Secondary College.

Basketball operations consultant

Mika Vukona

Vukona, who played 476 NBL games, will be a consultant to the JackJumpers’ basketball program. He won four championships with the New Zealand Breakers and another title with the South Dragons as well as playing 152 games for the Tall Blacks.
